A legacy rooted in Kuchwada, carried forward through generations.
For us, Kuchwada is that place.
And Rajneesh is that story.
Long before the world came to know him as Osho, there was a young boy named Rajneesh, growing up in the simplicity of a small Indian village.
The relationship between the two families became part of Kuchwada's living history.
Our ancestor, Thakur Shree Ram Charan Lal Patel, had three sons.
His youngest son, Thakur Shree Bansi Lal Patel, was entrusted with Kuchwada village and the surrounding lands.
This family connection became deeply intertwined with the life and history of Kuchwada.
As the village zamindar, Thakur Shree Bansi Lal Patel was deeply connected with the people and the life of the village.
It was Thakur Shree Bansi Lal Patel who extended significant support to Rajneesh's maternal grandfather, helping his family settle in Kuchwada.
Thakur Shree Bansi Lal Patel watched Rajneesh grow up.
The house where young Rajneesh lived stood right next to the house of Thakur Shree Bansi Lal Patel.
Two neighbouring homes. One quiet village. A little boy named Rajneesh.
No one knew then what Rajneesh would become. No one knew that this little village would one day be remembered across the world.

The vision of preserving and developing Kuchwada did not end with the efforts of Thakur Shree Madhav Sharan Patel and his son, Shree Brijendra Singh Patel.
It continued into the next generation through Shree Koshlendra Raghuwanshi, grandson of Thakur Shree Madhav Sharan Patel and son of Shree Brijendra Singh Patel.
The vision continued into the next generation through Shree Koshlendra Raghuwanshi, grandson of Thakur Shree Madhav Sharan Patel and son of Shree Brijendra Singh Patel.
In 2022, after taking sannyas and embracing the name Swami Veet Gyaan, Koshlendra Raghuwanshi made a personal commitment to carry forward this vision and contribute towards the development and preservation of Kuchwada.
His intention is to serve both the village community and the seekers and sannyasins who visit Kuchwada from different parts of India and the world.
A journey that extends beyond personal achievement towards education, social service and community development.
Thakur Shree Koshlendra Raghuwanshi has been associated with Lions Clubs International for the past 16 years and currently serves as a Cabinet Secretary within the organization.
His involvement has included initiatives related to healthcare, education, livelihood and employment opportunities.
Koshlendra Raghuwanshi is also the Founder of Daffodils Group of Institutions.
The institution provides education to approximately 2,000 students with the support of around 300 teachers and staff members.
He has written a book titled "Anubhav Ki Baatein" (अनुभव की बातें).
The book shares experiences, reflections and lessons from his journey through life.
Alongside education and social service, Koshlendra Raghuwanshi has a deep connection with agriculture and rural life.
He is actively involved in farming and promotes practices that are mindful of the environment, including organic and environmentally responsible agriculture.
Meaningful change can begin with small things.
The aspiration is to contribute towards making Kuchwada a place where the local community benefits while seekers from across the world find a welcoming environment.
Preserve the birthplace and the historical significance of Kuchwada.
Support the village community and its development.
Develop a peaceful meditation and dhyan centre for seekers.
Create a well-equipped library containing Osho's literature and teachings.
The journey traces back to the letter written by the grandfather in 1982.
Initiatives undertaken in 1998 became part of the continuing effort connected with Kuchwada.
After taking sannyas and embracing the name Swami Veet Gyaan, Koshlendra Raghuwanshi committed himself to carrying the vision forward.
The vision is to preserve the birthplace, serve the village, support seekers, promote education and knowledge, respect nature and create a welcoming space in Kuchwada.
Kuchwada is a part of Rajneesh's story. And Rajneesh is forever a part of Kuchwada's story.
Every visit, every helping hand, every shared story and every act of support becomes a small part of keeping this legacy alive.
