THE STORY BEHIND THE FOUNDATION

About Founder

A legacy rooted in Kuchwada, carried forward through generations.

A LEGACY THAT BEGAN WITH RAJNEESH
Some stories are born in a place.
Some places become part of a story.
And sometimes, a place becomes inseparable from a person who changes the world.

For us, Kuchwada is that place.
And Rajneesh is that story.

Long before the world came to know him as Osho, there was a young boy named Rajneesh, growing up in the simplicity of a small Indian village.

Our family was there.
TWO HOUSES ONE VILLAGE ONE EXTRAORDINARY CONNECTION

The relationship between the two families became part of Kuchwada's living history.

THE FAMILY ROOTS

Thakur Shree Ram Charan Lal Patel

Our ancestor, Thakur Shree Ram Charan Lal Patel, had three sons.

His youngest son, Thakur Shree Bansi Lal Patel, was entrusted with Kuchwada village and the surrounding lands.

This family connection became deeply intertwined with the life and history of Kuchwada.

THE KUCHWADA CONNECTION

Thakur Shree Bansi Lal Patel

As the village zamindar, Thakur Shree Bansi Lal Patel was deeply connected with the people and the life of the village.

It was Thakur Shree Bansi Lal Patel who extended significant support to Rajneesh's maternal grandfather, helping his family settle in Kuchwada.

Thakur Shree Bansi Lal Patel watched Rajneesh grow up.

The house where young Rajneesh lived stood right next to the house of Thakur Shree Bansi Lal Patel.

Two neighbouring homes. One quiet village. A little boy named Rajneesh.
